We're excited to share that our portfolio company TrustWorks has raised a new funding round, led by Elkstone Ventures.

TrustWorks is a leading European Privacy Management and AI Governance platform. They combine context-aware AI with intelligent automation to give privacy, legal, IT, and governance teams actionable insight—not just documentation. This approach eliminates unnecessary assessments and accelerates decision-making.

Nauta first backed TrustWorks (formerly QueryLayer) by leading its €2M Seed round back in 2021. Since then, the company has gone from strength to strength and won multiple awards, including the Most Impactful Data Privacy Product at the PICCASO Awards and recognised with the Google Cloud AI Innovation Award.

Industry leaders such as Randstad, Westinghouse Electric, VTEX, Fenergo, and Fexco use the platform to build and scale their privacy and AI governance programmes.

With intelligent automation, AI-assisted insights, and proactive compliance alignment with regulations like GDPR and the EU AI Act, TrustWorks empowers organisations to stay ahead of regulatory change while minimising operational burden.
